Saganaki (Greek Flaming Cheese) Recipe
Ingredients:
2 c of cheese (Mozzarella)
2 Tbsps of melted butter
2 Tbsps of brandy
1/2 pc of lemon
Instructions:
Heat the oven into a broil. Prepare the tray with lemon, brandy, and crackers. Cut the cheese in three wedges and arrange them in star-shape on pie (or quiche) pan. Pour the butter onto the cheese then broil 4-6 inches away from the heat till cheese turns slightly brown and bubbly. Add unto the tray.
To serve, pour (slightly warmed) brandy onto the cheese then ignite (for presentation purposes to your guests). Squeeze the lemon in extinguishing the flame then serve immediately.
