Macaroni & Cheese Souffle Recipe
Ingredients:
1 & 1/2 c of macaroni (corkscrew-shaped)
3 Tbsps of flour
1 & 1/4 c of milk
1/2 tsp of paprika
3 eggs (large); separated
2 Tbsps of butter/margarine
1/2 tsp of salt
A dash of cayenne
6 ounces of shredded sharp-flavored cheese (Cheddar)
Instructions:
Prepare oven. Heat it to three hundred fifty degrees Fahrenheit. Grease 2-qts sized dish. Follow package instructions in cooking macaroni. Soften butter in saucepan; add flour, paprika cayenne and salt then blend in milk. Over mid-heat, cook mixture, stir ’til thickened. Take saucepan off from fire.
Add in cheese then stir ’til melted. Lightly beat the eggyolks and fold them into macaroni-cheese mixture. Transfer into prepared dish and bake it for 30-40 mins or ’til center is bit firm when touched.
