Chocolate Velvet Cheesecake Recipe
Ingredients:
1 c of vanilla-flavored wafer crumbs
5 Tbsps of sugar (granulated)
1/2 c of pecans; chopped
1/4 c of melted margarine
2 packs of soften creamcheese (8 oz)
2 large eggs
3 Tbsps of amaretto
1/2 c of brown-sugar (packed)
1 pack of semi-sweet (6 oz)
2 c of sourcream
Instructions:
For the base: You combine pecans, sugar (granulated, margarine and crumbs; Tightly press into bottom part of 9″ springform bake pan. Let it bake for ten minutes at three hundred twenty-five degrees Fahrenheit.
For the body: You combine brown-sugar and creamcheese, using a mixer at mid-speed ’til well-blended. Gradually add in eggs, mix after every addition. Add in amaretto and semi-sweet pieces then pour into crust. Let it bake for thirty-five minutes at three hundred twenty-five degrees Fahrenheit.
For the topping: Adjust temp to four hundred twenty-five degrees Fahrenheit. Mix sourcream and 2 Tbsps sugar (granulated). Spread all over the cheesecake. Bake for 10 mins. Loosen the it from pan’s rim, cool completely before having the rim removed. Chill.
