Cheeseburger Pie Recipe
Ingredients:
1 c of Bisquick bake mix plus 2 Tbsp
1/4 c of milk
1 pound lean beef (grinded)
1/2 tsp of salt
1 Tbsp of Worcestershire sauce
1/2 c of chopped medium-sized onion
1/4 tsp of pepper
1 c of shredded cheese (Cheddar)
2 pcs tomatoes (medium); sliced
2 large eggs
Instructions:
Preheat oven (three hundred seventy-five degrees Fahrenheit). Mix 1 c of Bisquick w/ milk ’til soft but manageable dough is formed. Smoothen dough and form into dough ball by kneading five times on slightly floured cloth-lined working surface. Roll dough out or pat ’til its 2-inches bigger than 9-inch sized pie plate. Fit and ease dough into pan then mark edges beautifully w/ a fork, set it aside.
In large-sized skillet, cook meat & onion, stirring well ’til browned. Drain any excess oil or fat. Add in pepper, salt, 2 tablespoons of Bisquick and Worcestershire then scoop meat mix into dough lined pan. Have the sliced tomatoes arranged all over meat mix. Slightly beat 2 eggs and blend in cheese. Spoon into tomatoes, evenly spreading your cheese-egg mix to completely cover top. Bake pie for 30 mins. Slice into large wedges then serve w/ chili or hot sauce as you please.
