Cheese Stuffed Shells Recipe
Ingredients:
1 pound sausage (Italian)
10 ounces cooked spinach; frozen then drained well
1 pc egg; lightly beaten egg
2 cups of shredded cheese (Cheddar)
1 cup of cheese (Cottage)
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp of pepper
20 jumbo-sized cooked shell noodles; drained
1/4 cup white-wine
1/4 tsp of garlic; minced
1/2 tsp of dry basil
1 large onion; finely chopped
8 ounces softened creamcheese
1/4 c of grated cheese (Parmesan)
2 cups of cheese (Mozzarella); divided
20 ounces bottle of Marinara sauce
1/8 tsp of powdered cinnamon
Instructions:
Cook onion and sausage in well-heated skillet ’til browned. Transfer into large-sized mixing bowl. Combine spinach, egg and creamcheese. Add a cup of Mozzarella, Cottage, Cheddar and Parmesan cheese. Add your seasonings, mixing well. Have cooked noodles stuffed w/ prepared mixture, then transfer into small rectangular bake dish.
Spread sauce all over noodles. Leave some of the sauce. Bake, covered for 40 mins. Uncover then sprinkle w/ reserved Mozzarella. Bake for 5-8 more minutes or ’til cheese completely melts. Serve w/ remaining Marinara sauce.
