Cheese Stuffed Chicken Breasts Recipe
Ingredients:
3/4 c of creamcheese
5 Tbsps of butter
3/4 c of grated cheese (Swiss)
3 Tbsp of mustard (Dijon)
1 beaten egg
4 Tbsp of clarified butter
1/3 c of blue cheese
Nutmeg; grated
1/3 c of flour
3 pcs chicken breast-cut (3/4 pound each); skinned; deboned and halved
1/4 c of breadcrumbs
Instructions:
Combine creamcheese, butter, a dash nutmeg and Blue-cheese together. Shape into six ovals. Roll each in Swiss-cheese; chill for sixty minutes. Flatten the chicken cuts between waxpaper sheets. Spread half a teaspoon of mustard in each. Place one ovals between each breast-cut then completely enclose w/ the meat.
Roll in all-purpose flour, followed w/ egg & then into crumbs. Chill for another 60 mins. Sear your meat in clarified butter in thick oven proof skillet for 2 to 3 mins or ’til browned lightly. Transfer your pan into preheated oven, 400 degrees F, then have it baked for seven minutes, ’til chicken’s well-cooked.
