Cheese Salad Recipe
Ingredients:
2 c of (crushed) pineapple; drained (reserve juice)
1 Tbsp of gelatin (unflavored)
Juice extract from a lemon
1/2 c nuts; chopped
1 c of whipped cream
1/8 tsp of salt
1 pack of gelatin (lemon-flavored)
2 Tbsp of water (cold)
1 celery stalk; chopped
1/4 c of pimiento (chopped)
6 pcs marshmallows, cut into 4
6 ounces of creamcheese
Instructions:
Add enough water into pineapple juice to have a sum of two cups. Boil slowly. Dissolve both gelatins in water (cold), stirring well. Pour pineapples over water mixture and stir thoroughly. Allow to cool ’til a bit set.
Combine creamcheese, pineapples, celery, nuts & pimientos and add into previous mixture. Blend in mallows and whipping cream. Have mixture poured into lightly cooled mold and place in a cold area for twelve hours.
