Cheese Muffins Recipe
Ingredients:
1 & 3/4 c of flour (whole wheat)
1 Tbsp of baking powder
2 Tbsps of sugar
1/2 tsp of salt
3/4 c of cheese (Cheddar, sharp); grated
1/4 c of margarine; softened
1 pc of egg (large)
1 c of milk (skimmed)
Instructions:
Mix sugar, salt, baking powder and flour then add cheese, blending well. Create well into middle of mixture. Then combine margarine, egg and milk then add into flour mixture, stirring ’til moist and ’til no more streaks of flour visible.
Apply non-stick cooking spray on muffin cup tins and pour batter into them, 1/3 full, and bake 20-25 minutes under 400 deg Fahrenheit ’til finished and muffins are light brown in color. Serve while still hot.
