Cheese Almond Ball Recipe
Ingredients:
8 ozs of cream cheese; creamed
8 ozs of cold sharp cheese food (with wine or just plain)
1 c of cheese (sharp Cheddar); shredded
1 Tbsp of onion; grated
1 c of almonds; sliced & toasted
2 Tbsp of parsley; chopped
Instructions:
Beat 3/4 c of almonds, onion, milk and cheese ’til well-blended then chill for 50 minutes, the least. Form balls using mixture then wrap it in wax paper. Chill once again, overnight.
Coarsely chop the rest of almonds and drop parsley then roll the ball into this mixture. Wrap ball once again ’til needed. Take off ball from the fridge 60 minutes prior to using it. Unwrap then allow to stand at room temp. Serve mixture accompanied with crackers.
