Basic White Sauce & Cheese Sauce Recipe
Ingredients:
For the White Sauce:
1 Tbsp of butter (Betty’s)
1 Tbsp of arrowroot
1/8 tsp of salt
1 c of evaporated milk
1/8 tsp of pepper (white)
For the Cheese Sauce:
1/4 c of shredded cheese sauce
Instructions:
Heat the butter on a nonstick skillet and the arrowroot. Slowly add evaporated milk and cook till the sauce becomes thick. Add salt and pepper; stir thoroughly.
Add the cheese sauce to the hot white sauce and cook, while stirring constantly, till melted and smooth.
