Mexican Cheese Torta Recipe
Ingredients:
1 pkg (250 gram) cream cheese,
1 softened
1 cup colby cheese, grated
1 cup (monterey) jack, grated
1/4 cup red pepper, seeded and
1 chopped fine
1/4 cup green onions, chopped fine
1/4 cup jalapeno peppers (or less,
1 to taste) chopped fine
Instructions:
Combine all ingredients in processor, pulse ’til binded together. Transfer into plastic-wrap lined 4-cup bowl. Pat mixture flat then cover w/ plastic-wrap. Chill it for 4 hrs or you can chill it overnight.
Have wrap from bowl top removed. Place a serving platter on bowl’s top then turn upside down gently, then peel the wrap off. Garnish w/ chopped parsley or cilantro.
