Cheese Grits (Hotter) Recipe
Ingredients:
1 c of grits
4 c of water
2 pcs of garlic clove; crushed
1/2 c of butter (unsalted)
1 c of grated cheese (Cheddar)
3 pcs of egg
Salt & Pepper (to taste)
Paprika
Parmesan cheese
Pepper (jalapeno)
Instructions:
Cook the grits on salt-garlic-seasoned water as stated in its package instructions. Take out from the heat then add the butter; stir thoroughly till dissolved. Add half the grated cheese and eggs; mix thoroughly and season salt & pepper.
Transfer on a 2-qt baking dish. Sprinkle over the rest of grated cheese. Sprinkle lots of shredded Parmesan on the top, then dust paprika and garnish jalapenos. Bake inside the oven at 300 degrees F for forty-five mins.
