Cheese & Pasta Pie Recipe
Ingredients:
6 pcs of eggs; beaten
6 ozs of spaghetti; cooked & drained
1 pack of spinach (frozen, 10 ozs); chopped & cooked based on package directions
1 tsp of cooking oil
1/2 c of onion (green); thinly sliced
1 tsp of basil
1/4 c of parsley; snipped
1 c of cheese (Ricotta)
1/2 c of half-and-half or milk
1/2 tsp of Worcestershire sauce
1 c of cheese (Mozzarella); shredded
1/4 c of cheese (Parmesan); grated
1/2 tsp of salt
Ground pepper (to taste)
Instructions:
Combine spaghetti, eggs as well as oil then press mixture into sides and bottom of 10″ pie or quiche pan. Use foil that has been greased to cover edges and prevent it from burning. Then bake 7-10 minutes, 375 degrees F ’til set. Drain cooked spinach well and add basil, onion and parsley. Combine and beat milk, Ricotta and 4 pcs of eggs together; drop 1/2 c of mozzarella, vegetables, Parmesan, Worcestershire at seasonings.
Spoon mixture into pasta shell and drizzle with the rest of mozzarella above it. Bake for half an hour under 375 degrees F ’til set. Let it stand for ten minutes prior to serving.
