Caramel-Apple Sundae Cheesecake Recipe
Ingredients:
For the Crust:
1/3 c of margarine
1 pc of egg
1 & 1/4 c of flour
1/3 c of sugar
For the Filling:
2 packs of cream cheese (8 ozs); softened
2 Tbsp of flour
2/3 c of sugar
3 pcs of eggs
1 c of apples; peeled & chopped
1/2 c of cream (sour)
3/4 tsp of cinnamon
1/4 c of pecan nuts; chopped
1/2 c of topping (caramel)
Instructions:
Prepare the crust by beating sugar with margarine ’til fluffy and light. Add egg as well as flour, blending well. Push dough on sides and bottom of 9″ springform-type pan, then bake 450 degrees F for ten minutes. Create filling by mixing flour, (cream) cheese and 1/3 c of sugar using electrical mixer (medium speed) ’til well-blended. One by one, drop eggs while mixing. Add the sour cream.
With the rest of sugar as well as cinnamon, toss the apples into it then add into mixture of (cream) cheese. Spread mixture on the crust and swirl caramel on top. Bake 60 minutes, 350 degrees F. Loosen pan’s sides and allow cake to be cooled before completely removing the sides. Chill the cake until serving time and top it with the rest of the caramel and pecan nuts.
