Belgian Cheese Tart Recipe
Ingredients:
For the Crust:
1 pc of shortbread
For the Tart:
1 c of cream cheese
3 Tbsps of powdered sugar
1 tsp of juice (lemon)
2 pcs of eggs (large)
2/3 c of cream (heavy)
For the Glaze:
1 Tbsp of powdered sugar
1 pc of egg
Instructions:
Preheat oven, 350 deg Fahrenheit. Prepare an 8 inch (tart) pan. Beat cheese, juice, and sugar inside a bowl till fluffy and light. Individually add eggs, while beating continuously. Beat till mixture becomes smooth. Add cream then carefully stir mixture; pour onto the crust.
Combine egg with powdered sugar; beat thoroughly and brush this mixture gently above prepared tart. Bake inside preheated oven for twenty-five mins or till set. Let it cool completely then place inside the refrigerator. Serve chilled.
