Banana Nut Cheesecake Recipe
Ingredients:
For the Base:
1 c of wafer crumbs
1/4 c of melted margarine
For the Body:
2 pkgs of softened cream cheese (8 oz each)
1/2 c of sugar (refined)
1/2 c of mashed banana (ripe)
2 pcs of eggs (large)
1/4 c of walnuts; chopped
For the Topping:
1/3 c of milk pieces
1 Tbsp of margarine
2 tsps of water (cold)
Instructions:
Combine margarine and crumbs; press firmly onto the base of a 9-inch (springform) pan then bake for 10 mins, 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Combine sugar, banana, and cream cheese; beat moderately till blended well. Add the eggs individually, while beating continuously. Fold in the walnuts.
Transfer mixture onto the crust and bake for 40 mins, 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Run a knife on the edges to loosen the cheesecake from the pan sides. Let the cake cool. Melt the margarine and milk pieces with the water above gentle heat; stir constantly till smooth then drizzle the topping over the cooled cheesecake. Let the cake chill before serving.
