Apricot-Cheese Pastries Recipe
Ingredients:
2-1/2 c of flour; sifted
1 c of butter (unsalted)
1/4 tsp of salt
1/2 c of sugar (refined)
1 tsp of vanilla extract
8 oz of softened cream cheese
2 Tbsps of milk
Apricot jam
Instructions:
Combine salt and flour inside a bowl then add the butter and cut till it resembles coarse crumbs. Beat sugar, milk, cream cheese, and vanilla till creamy then add the mixture of flour. Mix thoroughly and refrigerate till chilled.
Roll the dough out into 1/8-inch thick then cut to rounds. Place a teaspoon of the jam on the center of the round and cover another round. Press the edges using a clean fork. Arrange onto greased baking sheets then bake inside preheated oven at 400 degrees F for 10 to 12 mins.
