Appetizer Cheese Ball Recipe
Ingredients:
1 pkg of cream cheese (8 oz); softened
4 oz of crumbled cheese (Blue)
4 oz of shredded cheese (Cheddar)
2 tsp of mustard (Dijon)
1 tsp of Worcestershire
1/4 tsp of salt
1/8 tsp of garlic powder
1/2 c of pecans; chopped finely
2/3 c of currants
3/4 c of chopped parsley (fresh)
For the Dippers:
Crackers (assorted)
Apple; cut to wedges
Instructions:
Combine cream cheese, cheeses, Worcestershire, mustard, salt and powdered garlic inside a mixing bowl; beat gently till mixed well. Add the currants and pecans; stir thoroughly. Taste then add seasoning if desired. Place inside the refrigerator for half an hour till almost firm.
Shape the chilled mixture to a smooth ball and roll onto the parsley, coating it well then wrap with a plastic wrapper. Place inside the refrigerator till ready for serving. Take cheese ball out from the refrigerator half an hour prior to serving then place it on serving platter with apples and crackers.
