Amaretto Peach Cheesecake Recipe
Ingredients:
For the Base:
3 Tbsps of margarine
1/3 c of sugar (refined)
1 pc of egg (large)
3/4 c of flour
For the Body:
3 pkgs of cream cheese (8 oz each); softened
3/4 c of sugar (refined)
3 Tbsps of flour
3 pcs of eggs (large)
16 oz of peach halves (canned); drained
1/4 c of Amaretto
Instructions:
Beat sugar with margarine till fluffy and light. Add the flour and blend thoroughly. Add the flour and mix thoroughly till a dough is formed. Roll the dough and line the base of a 9-inch (springform) pan. Combine sugar, flour, and cream cheese. Mix moderately using a mixer till blended well. Add the eggs individually, while continuously beating. Add liqueur and peaches then mix thoroughly.
Pour above the crust and bake 450 degrees F for ten mins. Reduce the temperature into 250 degrees F and continue to bake for another 65 mins. Run a knife through the sides of the pan to loosen the cake and let it cool completely. Let it chill before serving. Garnish slices of peach or toasted slices of almonds, if preferred.
